Primary visit to Bristol Museum
This week two groups of children from Years 3 - 5 went to visit the Bristol Museum and the central library with Miss Flook.
They were absolutely amazed at the things they could see and learn at the museum, from dinosaurs to Japanese art to Ancient Egypt! Brooke really loved all the art and wrote a wonderful description of her favourite portrait.
Afterwards we went to the library and looked at the huge range of books. Some children wanted to learn more about a topic they had discovered at the museum and others found a new fiction book to read. We spent over an hour writing about the museum and everyone was so engaged, it was an absolutely amazing day.
Don't forget to get yourself a free library card (form attached). Did you know the museum is also completely free to visit? What a great activity for the summer holidays!
