Cookery Lessons

The SSC has a very well equipped new kitchen that is used regularly for cookery lessons.  Together with the class teacher, students help to choose the recipe that they want to cook. 

We ask for a donation of £2.50 towards the cost of the ingredients and for students to bring a dish to school, in which they can take home their cooked food. 

Students have had lessons in cooking pasta bakes, soups, pies, cakes, scones, cheesecakes and KS4 have even cooked a three course meal for the staff!
