As you may be aware, the Government is launching a scheme called Home Access.  Parents and carers can apply for a grant that will provide a fully supported desktop computer or laptop and a year’s worth of Internet access.

To apply you must be entitled to free school meals, on income support, or in receipt of certain other benefits.

If you think that your child may be eligible for free school meals, but you haven’t yet applied, we strongly recommend that you do apply as it will simplify the application for the computer funds.
