I am Danielle Ash and I will be taking on the role of Head Girl 2012- 2013. I have been hoping to take on this honour after being a Prefect and House Captain and working alongside the Head Girl and Boy of 2011-12.
During this time, I have seen the immense impact this role can have on fellow students.
I was delighted when I was made Head Girl. My aims as the Head Girl are: to make sure that everyone feels supported, to create an even bigger presence in the community and, most importantly, to be a role model to my fellow students.
In the future I would like to join the police service; therefore I have tried to develop important skills at a young age. My most recent achievements include being voted ‘Student of the Year' at the Star Awards, participating in our School Council and completing my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.
I am very keen on Sports such as Football, Netball & Rounders, where I have sometimes been team captain. I want to support our students and help them achieve more and fulfil their potential.
People can come and speak to me, as I'm always out and about, and I'll never turn anyone away. I am happy to help and mentor my fellow students. Bridge Learning is already a very successful campus and I hope to help in its future plans.
I would like to say a BIG thank you to Mrs Amel and Mr Kenna for giving me the opportunity to become Head Girl.
Finally BIG congratulations to Liam G, Jessica H and Jacob L for their achievements in becoming Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy.
