My name is Sam Hill, I feel very proud and privileged to be selected as head boy of The Bridge Learning Campus for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Since I began my secondary school career in 2007 I have always enjoyed my time at The Bridge. I believe my role of Head Boy is to contribute to and support the development of the school from a student's perspective. I also believe I should be a person able to add towards a community within our school - All the way through primary and secondary, it is this that makes our school unique.
I will strive to assist everyone I possibly can whenever I can, including staff - the same people who have supported me throughout my entire school life. I believe I am a person that people can speak to easily and get along with.
During my time at the campus I have participated within many clubs and school trips. These include our schools Rugby, Football and Cricket teams for many years in a row. Outside of school I have received "Player of the year" at my rugby club as I love to work in a team with other people and highly enjoy myself while playing there.
I take great pride in being Head Boy of the school and am highly grateful for how the school has raised me into a young adult. I am excited to meet all the new people and my role throughout the school as it progresses this year. I would highly encourage the young and upcoming students at The Bridge to take advantage of all the great choices thrown at them throughout their school career and to try and enjoy themselves as much as I have!
