Meet our Deputy Head Boy and Girl

Deputy Head Girl - Jess Harrison

Hi, I am the new Deputy Head Girl of BLC. My name is Jessica Harrison and I am looking forward to the year ahead. I am glad I have been chosen for this role and to represent BLC.

I feel I will learn greatly from this role and use the experience to further my education, as it is a skill that will help me in later life. I am proud to have been given this chance and I will use my experiences and skills to help others while in this position.

I hope I can return some of the support, understanding and respect that the staff of BLC have shown me in my years at the school. All that I have achieved so far is down to them.

I look forward to the next academic year of school and the challenges that await me on my last year. The ideas for events next year look exciting and I look forward to working with others to come up with ideas for raising money and awareness of the school in the community. The school needs to be represented properly and proudly and I hope I can help to achieve this in the next 12 months.

Deputy Head Boy - Jacob Lewis

Hello, my name is Jacob Lewis and I am the new deputy head boy at Bridge Learning Campus. I am absolutely delighted that I have been chosen for this role and will tackle it with great pride and commitment.

I have attended this school since year 7 and I also went to Teyfant primary school, which was the primary here before 2009. I have always been happy in this school and it is now great that I have been given the chance to give something back to the school and help it to develop in the next year.

Bridge Learning Campus has a relaxed but willing attitude to it, which I feel benefits students and staff. The school also has great facilities in subjects such as Engineering and P.E, which again can only benefit education. There are always trips and activities arranged, for a wide curriculum across subjects such as; Sports, Science, Maths, Art, Photography, History, Geography and Humanities, which strengthen the learning process.

I now start my new role as deputy head boy and I am sure I will relish the chance to support students and staff develop areas of the school where they think I may be able to help. I am looking forward to the year ahead and the challenges that it will bring.
