Team 2 is made up of four classes: Dove, Magpie, Jackdaw and Woodpecker classes. We are children from Year 2 and 3; ages 6 to 8 years old.
Dove Class
Mr Penny - Class teacher
We are Dove Class. We're a lively but friendly bunch. We're proud of our work and our manners. Everybody is welcome in our classroom and we treat others with kindness and respect. We know that sometimes you make mistakes and that they help us learn. We always try our hardest to make each piece of work our very best. Here are some of the things we think about our class:
"Dove class are really confident when they are writing. "
"We are the most handsome class in all the schools in the world!"
"Most of the time we work really hard"
"Sometimes we're a little bit naughty but we're usually excellently behaved"
Magpie Class
Ms Legg - Class teacher
"In Magpie Class we always try to have a smile on our face!" Ellie We love taking part in real life learning, this term we have made bread, and tasted lots of different types of bread, this helped us think of lots of WOW words for our learning wall. "Being in Magpie class is colourful because of all the different things around us." Jessica. "One of our learning blockers at the moment is shouting out", Mathew. We try not to do this by thinking about the three bees. "We all try to work together as a team to get marbles" Georgina
Jackdaw Class
Ms Merrifield - Class teacher
Jackdaws is a wonderful class because it looks pretty. We are very lively and we like playing football with Tommy from Bristol City. Our favourite way of learning is going on exciting trips. Jackdaw class are very proud of their appearance as we feel we look very smart in our school uniform and we think we are very smart (Clever!). We are really good storytellers and we love performing. We are really trying to be independent, we think this is:
"When you're doing your work and you don't need any help."
"It makes you more confident."
"Working on your own."
"We know what to do when we get stuck - phone a friend."
"Try your best."
We are getting better all the time!
Woodpecker class
Mrs Jones - Class teacher
There are 27 Woodpeckers; 14 year 3 and 13 year 2 children. We like to enjoy our learning and like Green Woodpeckers which have a call that is described as a loud, ringing peal of laughter our classroom is often filled with this sound.
