Phase 1 Year 1

Hello and welcome to Year 1. We have two classes in year 1; Swift and Swallow Classes. Our children are 5 and 6 years old. Just like the birds we are named after we are learning to fly high and travel the distance with our learning.

Swallow Class

Swallow Class is made up of some very clever Year 1 children who
always try their best and love to learn at home too! We work together
as a class following the '3 Bees' code which makes us responsible
learners.

Swift class is made up of enthusiastic learners. We have embraced Year 1 and are working towards becoming independent in their schooling. As a class we are working with The Three Bees, we want our learning environment to be safe, to have respect and for children to be responsible, these will help us on our learning journey. We have budding readers and cool mathematicians along with splendid story writers.
