Connecting Classrooms builds lasting partnerships between schools in the UK and others around the world. Through these partnerships, the programme develops trust and understanding between young people in different societies, creating a safer and more connected world for the future.
Miss Tasker (BLC Secondary), Miss Neaves and Mr Penny (BLC Primary) and Mr Tavender (BLC New Fosseway) visited India as part of the programme in October 2010. They visited a number of schools in New Delhi, India and all teachers have shared their experiences with staff and students at BLC.
It was a fantastic opportunity to build links with schools around the world and all campuses at BLC have been working on collaborative projects with staff and students in the partner schools in New Delhi. We hope this will form the beginnings of many more worldwide school links and projects!
Update!!!
Miss Tasker, Mrs Nichols (Neaves), Mr Penny and Mr Tavender are expecting a visit from Indian Delegates Sunday 22nd April - Saturday 28th April 2012. The Delegates will be meeting staff and students across the campus during this week.
